Hi Everyone. This blog is essentially my updates to my friends and family sharing my latest adventures, trips and thoughts, struggles and feelings. If you aren't already friends with me then I'm somewhat surprised you have found this blog, and presume it is because one of my friends believes you and I would get along like old chums.

In which case here is what you ought know about me before we are acquainted.

I live in Tasmania with my fiancée Lauren, and her cat Meowmeow. I am gangly - although you'd likely be able to tell that from the pictures you have undoubtedly already perused - and have a wide range of active and less active hobbies including Ultimate Frisbee, Hiking, Packrafting, Running, Camping, Mountain biking, Building tents, and when all those things get too hard, warm showers and lying bed watching TV.

More deeply I am an a narcissistic empath and want to change the world and the lives of those I spend time with for the better - and want to be well-known for it. I like being the centre of attention, but have a sufficiently introverted personality to prefer hanging out with a few friends and get quickly drained from socialising with many.

I follow a vegan diet and mostly vegan lifestyle, believe in social equity and spend much of my life seeking ways to avoid contributing towards capitalism and and wealth inequality, while also maintaining sufficient cognitive dissonance to continue justifying behaviours with which would be inconvenient to change, though it is something I'm forever working on.

In my work I am a Dietitian, and have previously worked as a Personal Trainer and Remedial Massage therapist.

I am officially an academically published Author, and maintain a strong interest in community and public health, particularly with relevance to healthy eating, physical activity and the causes of the causes i.e the environments in which we work, live, learn, grow and play.
